Not Ashamed of the Gospel

Romans 1:8-17

The letter of Romans' great theme emerges in verse 17, that is the righteousness of God revealed through faith. This Gospel, this good news about Jesus, is not something we should be ashamed of, even in regions and cultures that are overwhelmingly opposed to Christianity. Throughout Romans we will discover that God's saving righteousness is not merely an attribute He possesses, but a gift he graciously gives through Christ and this gift is meant to be received and then given to others. The gospel reveals both the justice and mercy of God and invites every believer to live by faith in the crucified and risen King.
